It’s been 12 months since I started this Modern Speechie blog and WOW – what a year!

I am so grateful to everyone who has liked the Modern Speechie Facebook page and to those who have read, liked, commented on or shared our posts. Thank you so much for helping us raise awareness about lots of different issues that can affect children’s communication skills and learning!

As 2015 comes to a close I am going to take a little break from writing our blog posts. Don’t worry though… I’ll be back! Bigger than ever. (And no, I’m not just talking about my waistline after having a tad too much turkey and Pavlova!)

We have HUGE plans for 2016! We are currently working on some amazing resources and activities to share with you all in the new year so watch this space!

And please don’t forget that ultimately this page is for you! It’s for the parents, carers and teachers who work tirelessly to encourage and support children to be the best they can be. So if you have any questions or thoughts on what you would like us to cover, please let us know because odds are someone else will be wondering the same thing!

To help wrap things up, here are 5 of our most popular blog posts from 2015 (just in case you missed them). Please keep up the great work and keep sharing/commenting/liking to help us reach as many people as we can.

In the meantime, thanks again for all the support and encouragement you have given me over the past year. I sincerely hope you have found our information and ideas helpful and I hope you have a safe and happy Christmas and New Year with your loved ones.

Clare.
